Woman shot as ‘gunfight’ breaks out at Durham Waffle House
Durham, N.C.— Durham police reacted to a shooting at a Waffle House on Saturday early morning.
A female was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after she was shot at the dining establishment on TW Alexander Drive at some point before 3 a.m. An officer told WRAL the shooting was the outcome of a “gunfight.”
Criminal offense scene tape was installed around the restaurant and adjoining parking lots. Dozens of proof markers were seen on the ground surrounding the structure.
The dining establishment was closed during the examination.
Durham Cops and forensics investigators are looking into the case.
